SUMMERFIELD — Edna Charlotte Macaulay, 94, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.

Mrs. Macaulay was born in Springfield, MA, and moved to Summerfield 11 years ago from Monson, MA. She was Protestant and a member of the Mayflower Society.

She played the violin and was a member of the Old Post Road Orchestra, the Holyoke Civic Symphony and "Pit" orchestra for many musical productions, for Monson Summer Theatre local musicals and a former member of the Springfield Symphony.

Survivors include her husband, John Monroe Macaulay; son, Steven James Macaulay, Gulf Hammock; daughters Bonnie Grace Martin, Tuscaloosa, AL, Betty Jean Sullivan, The Villages, Sandra Lois Stansbury, The Villages, Sheryl Lee Macaulay, Summerfield; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory in Lady Lake.

A funeral service will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

A graveside service with Rites of Committal and Interment will be held on Wednesday afternoon, July 10, 2013 at 1 p.m. in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield. Memorial contributions in Edna's memory may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
