DR. RALPH R. WITHROW, 71, died at Springhill, N.S., on September 25, 1961. Born in Upper Rawdon, Hants County, he attended school there, and later graduated from the Halifax Academy. In 1915 he graduated from Dalhousie University and went to Springhill, N.S., to practise surgery. Dr. Withrow was awarded a specialist's certificate in general surgery in 1946, and he was also a registered pharmacist in Springhill, N.S. He is survived by his widow and two daughters.
