David is not in their home in 1910, where Ellen (wife and dau) are called "Nellie", the baby is named Ray and additional ch are Jean, John, Bernice, and Margarite. (James Loren is son of David's brother, Wm. Edward F. Wells.)

David is entered twice in 1900, the second entry in East Beardstown, WELLS David age 65/Mar 1835/servant, in home of Porter and Agnes GOLF.

Burial record not found. He may be one of the interments relocated to Beardstown City Cem., per this placque in this cemetery:
"Here rest the remains of 47 early pioneers of Beardstown unearthed in July 1997 at the Beard School Grounds a former cemetery reinterred here on May 14 2002."
