She was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Susan Tait; first husband, Bob Myers; her brothers Andrew and George; sister Helen. Margaret was born May 4, 1917 in Regina, raised in Fort QuAppelle and came to Cupar in 1936 to work for Alice and Frank Turner. In 1938 she married Bob Myers, they lived in Cupar and had two children. She started working at the Cupar Hospital in 1954 and stayed there for 13 years. During that time she was a nurses aide but also the x-ray and lab technician. In 1962 she married Ken McAulay and in 1969 they moved to the farm at Markinch.
Interment will be at a later date in Markinch Cemetery.
