Funeral services for Barbara Frear Copeland, 81, of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 19, 2013, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Joe Solomon and Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Copeland passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Azalea Estates. She was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Copeland; and parents Donald and Helen Frear.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lynn Copeland, and Lonnie and Wanda Copeland; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Kelly Vining; brothers, Donald L Frear and Harold D. Frear; grandchildren, Seth and Kelli Copeland, Chad and Lindsey Copeland, Chris and Melissa Copeland, Lonnie, Jr. and Tessa Copeland, Andrew Copeland, Jeremy Copeland, Barbara and David Hughes, and Amanda Vining; great grandchildren, Katie, Caden, Parker, Cody, Brody, Layne, Carson, and Carter Copeland and Harrison Hughes; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
