Rufus Morgan Parrott, age 75, who died today, was a retired electrician with Norfolk and Western Railroad where he worked 46 years. He was a native of Ronoake, Virginia and lived in Birmingham the past three years.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Crest, Johns-Ridout's directing.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Parrott; a daughter, Jean Davis of Midlothian, Virginia; and a stepson, B.S. Vaughan of Birmingham. The family suggests that any memorials be in the form of donations to the Eye Foundation Hospital.
