She was born December 26, 1934 in Brushy, IA to Benjamin Samuel and Iza Mae Fenton Tracy. She married Jim Wyldes on July 3, 1954. A cheer leader, homecoming queen and graduated of Centerville High School, Shirley lived in Ottumwa from 1954 to 1991, moving to Moravia in 1991. She had worked for over 10 years for Home Oil Co.
Surviving is her husband, Jim; a daughter, Susan(Mike)Prough of St. John, IN; two sons, Rev. Bryan(Kathy)Wyldes of Ottumwa and Brad Lee(Alena)Wyldes of Arlington, TX; two grandchildren, Benjamin(Nicki)Wyldes and Erin Wyldes; a great-grandson, Briar Lee Wyldes; two sisters, Lavon Tracy of Davenport and Marilyn Oswalt of Centerville; a brother, Bert Tracy of Centerville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Loyde Tracy.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Dobson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation begins at 11 am Sunday with the family present from 5-7 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Ottumwa Commuity Church.
