"Uncle Buck" Creech who, after a long life-time of administering to the spiritual needs of citizen of the Three-Forks Country, departed this world at the age of 92. And other than being a devout Christian and a man of great compassion, possessed a delightful sense of humor.
Elijah's birth date conflicts somewhat: There is a hand written birth record for Elijah Cruch (or Creech) in the Kentucky, Birth Records, 1852-1910, that gives the date of birth as 20 Sept, 1856, the rest of the information matches known information, his tombstone says 31 August 1856. Also Kentucky Census of 1900 shows that he was born in Kentucky but the Census records of 1870, 1880,1910, and 1930 show that he was born in Virginia.
