Tony was a longtime accordion teacher and performer in the East Bay. He shared a studio for several decades with guitar teacher Bob Richards in San Leandro on MacArthur Boulevard between Superior and Diehl Avenues before moving the studio to Hayward around 1980.

Anthony "Tony " Cervone died on Sunday, December 16 at the age of 94. He is preceded in death by his wife Lucy. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia and her family. He also leaves behind many friends, relatives and his care providers at Eden Villa. Everyone will miss his sense of humor and strength of character.
Family and friends are invited to pay respects on Wednesday, December 26th , 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Vigil will begin at 7:00 pm at Holy Angels Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B St, Hayward. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3433 Somerset Ave, Castro Valley, Thursday, December 27th, 10:30 am. Interment immediately following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Bl., Hayward.
