Filomena Mancini, 104, of Garden City, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born April 20, 1908, in New York City, to Joseph and Giovanna Spirrichino Giudice.
On Dec. 19, 1937, she married Vincent Mancini in New York City. He died Dec. 25, 1978. She also was preceded in death by a son, a stepson and a stepdaughter.
Mrs. Mancini had been a resident of Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.
Survivors include a son, Vincent Mancini of Sublette; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Garden Valley Retirement Village Chapel. Graveside service and burial will be at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y.
