YORKTOWN - Richard C. Rohrbach Jr., 64, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday Oct. 19, 2005.
Richard was born on January 18, 1941, in York, Pa., and was a peninsula resident for many years.
He retired as a pipe fitter, Dept X42 from Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding in 2003, after 42 years of service. He was a member of Chestnut United Methodist Church.
Richard was a loving husband, father, brother, and Pop-pop and he will be greatly missed by all.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Gladys Rohrbach; three daughters, Sharon Stevens, Lorrie Futrell, and Lisa Rohrbach; his parents, Alice and Richard Rohrbach Sr.; five brothers, Sterling, William, James, Gary, and Robert; a sister, Patricia Walls; three grandchildren, Jessica and Jeffrey Futrell and Joshua Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
