Shelton--(Sacred Heart Parish)--Donald E. Stack, former resident of Shelton and Hall County died suddenly in his home in San Leandro, Calif., on Dec. 24.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 27. A Solemn Requiem Mass was offered in St. Leander's Church with burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, San Leandro.
Born in Harvard, Neb., May 28, 1907, he moved to Hall County with his parents and family in 1910. He was the son of James T. and Catherine Lynch Stack.
He was graduated from the Shelton High School and attended Creighton University, Omaha before moving to California.
He is survived by his wife, Goldie Marie; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. Roberts of San Leandro; three brothers, John D. of Denver, Charles L. of Circle, Mont; and James B. of Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs Marie Ryan of Missouri Valley, Ia and Miss Kathleen Stack of Grand Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, and two infant sisters.
