Harold "Bill" Reese, 73, of Tower Hill, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 in his home. He was born August 17, 1938 in Moweaqua, IL, the son of Harold & Bertha Enlow Reese. Bill lived in Ramsey & Tower Hill his entire life and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Bridgestone/Firestone in 1995. He later worked at County Market and for Tower Hill Township the past 10 to 12 years. Harold Reese and Ruth C. Pieper were married on November 7, 1959 in Rockford, IL.
He is survived by his wife: Ruth Reese; children: Danny, Greenville, IL; Steve & wife Mary Ann, Morris, IL; Lynn Perkins & husband Dave, Greenville, IL; eight grandchildren: Kristi, Bruce, Rick, J.D., Wendy, Kyle, Julie and Jason; 15 great-grandchildren; sister: Wanda Wilcher, Pana, IL; brother-in-law: Eugene Pieper & wife Mary, Decatur, IL; sister-in-law: Shirley Merkin, Houston, TX and by several nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth Reese and sister Alberta Sommers.
