PROVIDENCE —Willie Mae "Billie" Riddle, 87, Providence, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, in Nashville, Tenn.

She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Providence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace, who died in 1988; and her parents, Will and Inez Arnold.

Survivors include one daughter, Julia Lewis of Woodville, Fla.; three sons, Greg Riddle and Jerry Riddle, both of Providence, and Michael Riddle of Manitou, Ky.; one brother, Gerald Arnold of Wilbur, Wash.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Victory Baptist Church in Providence. Brother Andy Corbin will officiate. Interment will be in Fox Cemetery in Providence.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jones & Erdman Funeral Home in Providence and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Willie Mae (Billie) Riddle, 87 of Providence, passed away on Friday, January 25 in Nashville.
She was born on August 14, 1925 in Providence to Will and Inez Arnold.
She graduated from Wheatcroft High School and worked in the Evansville defense plants during WW II as an ammunition inspector. She and Wallace Riddle were married on March 7, 1947 in Morganfield and lived in Providence since that time.
Billie was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She loved wildlife and the out of doors. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Providence.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband Julia and Dorman Lewis of Woodville, FL. Three sons, Greg and Jerry Riddle of Providence and Michael and wife Sheri Riddle of Manitou. Four grandsons, Sam, Chris, Lee and Matt a granddaughter Shelby and ten great grandchildren.
A brother Gerald Arnold of Wilbur Wa. and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace in 1988 and two sisters Evelyn Wood and Ernestine Duncan.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 11 AM at Victory Baptist Church in Providence with Bro. Andy Corbin officiating. Interment will be in the family plot at Fox Cemetery. Visitation is on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at Jones & Erdman in Providence and from 9 AM to service time on Tuesday at the church
