Dora is the daughter of Nancy Richardson and John Harris.
The exact date of her birth and death is not known. She was born before April 1882 and since she died shortly after the birth of her second son (08.31.1909) it's safe to assume she died in the latter part of 1909 or early 1910. The child was small when she passed away causing Will to return to Newton Co. where their families lived to help with raising the two boys.
Her mother married Joe Vaughn and he raised her as his own along with another child that Nancy had at the time of their marriage, Sam Daniels. Both children were raised with the rest of the kids in the family without discrimination.

After her death she was buried in a cemetery a couple of counties away from where she grew up and over time no one remembered which cemetery she was buried in.
There is no one left that would have any information on her gravesite. Her daughter in law, Leta 'Watson' Rylee only knew that by the time she married Sherman, his dad, Will, no longer remembered the exact location of the cemetery.
