Model. The winner of several beauty pageants in her native land, she also had a significant runway career. Raised in Novokuznesk, she completed her education with a foreign languages emphasis in 2003 and that same year was crowned both Miss Kuzbass and Miss Russia while coming in first runner-up in the Miss Siberia competition. Moving to Moscow Anna became a sought after fashion model then in 2006 was named Miss Russia-Universe and was thus selected to represent her country in the Miss Universe Pageant in Los Angeles; though she did not win she did continue modelling and with time became a mentor to other young girls seeking to enter the business as well as a clothing designer in her own right. Ill with malignant melanoma, possibly caused by overuse of tanning beds, over the final year of her life, Anna died in a German clinic to which she had traveled for treatment.
