She was born July 7, 1927, to John Robert and Nancy Jane (Reed) Edwards in Swain, Ark.
She married Riley Watson, April 4, 1945. She then married Louis Hoerr, May 20, 1973, in Liberal. He survives.
She was a longtime Liberal resident.
She graduated from Swain High School in Swain, Ark.
She retired from Alco and also had been employed at JC Penny's.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal.
Other survivors include four sons, Billy Watson and wife, Linda, Liberal, Larry Watson and wife, Kaylinn, Greeley, Colo., Jerry Watson and wife, Mary, Emporia, Danny Watson and wife, Cindy, Warrior, Ala.; one daughter, Judy Watson, Liberal; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Edwards, Rogers, Ark.
* Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Cory Barnett presiding.
Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.
