Born Myrtle Walker on April 1, 1916 in St. Louis a daughter to Troy and Elsie (nee Bequette) Walker. She died January 29, 2013 at The Villas in De Soto.
She is survived by two children: Elaine (Lyle) Bryant, De Soto and Richard "Dick" (Claudine) Reynolds, Paola, KS, five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; two step-sons: Bernie (Lois) Tenney, Jr., De Soto and Donald (Joan) Hopson, Lenexa, KS, a sister-in-law Margie Walker, De Soto; and a step daughter-in-law: Mildred Hopson, St. Louis. She is preceded in death by her parents; three husbands: Jim Reynolds, Bernie Tenney, Sr., and Leonard Hopson; two brothers: Robert "Bob" Walker and Lester "Piggy" Walker; a step-son William Hopson; and a great-grandson; Nathan LaMontange. She was a very active member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, served as a volunteer for Pony Bird, and worked for many years with the De Soto Homemakers Extension Club.
