OBITUARY

J. D. "Jake" CLARK, 82, of Perryton, died December 3, 2005.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 8, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Perryton, with Mikel Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery in Gray, Oklahoma, under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

He was born February 14, 1923 in Jacksboro, and had lived in Perryton since 1955. He married Alpha FULMER on April 7, 1946 in Weatherford.

He served in the military during World War II. Captured by the Japanese, he was held as a prisoner of war for 3 1/2 years.

A production superintendent, he retired as an area supervisor for Crown Central Petroleum.

He was preceded in death by his wife, in 2004; and his parents, Johnny and Etta (Turner) CLARK.

He is survived by one son, Jerry Wayne CLARK of Lewisville.

The family suggests memorials to American Ex Prisoners of War, 3201 E. Pioneer Parkway, Suite 40, Arlington, TX 76010.
