Born, 21 February, 1913, in Nebraska. During the time they lived in Kansas City, Missouri, from 1912 to 1914, where Tom her father was a carpenter, they then returned to their homestead in Wood Lake, Nebraska. Just two months after they moved from their her mother's homestead to her father's homestead, Tom pasted away on Saturday, 18 August, 1917, at the age of 41 years, 3 months, 2 days. He is buried at Valentine, Nebraska. While they were in Missouri Tom Hilley, her mother's brother took care of their farmstead. In 1919, her family returned to Ogden, Iowa again leaving the homestead in the care of her Uncle Tom. She lived here in Ogden for five years than in 1924, they returned to Wood Lake, Nebraska homestead, where she and her sisters grew-up and later married. She lived in Chadron, Nebraska and later in Gardena and 528 Menlo Street, Hawthorne, California for the last three years of her life with Kate her mother. Mary worked as a clerk for an Aircraft manufacture. She passed away on 8 March, 1955, at her home in Hawthorne, California, at the age of 42 years, 0 months, 15 days. She is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Los Angeles County, California. She never married.
