He was born March 3, 1927, the son of Henry D. and Angeline Miller Skinner. His wife, Margaret Skinner, died in 1993.
Mr. Skinner worked at Continental Steel in Joliet and was an automobile mechanic. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Calvary Temple Church.
Survivors: five sons, Lewis of Ina and Abraham, Carl, Roy and William Jr., all of the Joliet area; five daughters, Sophie, Angie, Alberta, Minnie and Virginia, all of the Joliet area; and a cousin.
Entombment services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oak Ridge Abbey, the Rev. Charles Lee officiating.
