She was born Feb. 10, 1940, in Hinsdale, the daughter of Lewis A. and Sophie Martin Payne. Preceding her in death was a son, Jonathan.
Surviving are her husband, William W.; five sons, Lewis of Springfield, Abraham, Carl, Roy and William Jr., all of the Joliet area; five daughters, Sophie, Angie, Alberta, Minnie and Virginia, all of the Joliet area; two sisters, Frances Quinn and Mary Jo Brionens, both of Joliet; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Ridge Abbey
