Age 63 years. Late of 509 Oxford Pl., Lockport. Died following a brief illness Monday June 7, 1971 at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by his wife, Dorothy nee Koehne of Joliet; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Grimes (Sarah Jane) of Kissimmee, Fla; four grandsons; 2 sisters, Mrs. Joseph Wolf (Lucille), Mrs. Walter Pomykala (Nellie) of Joliet; one brother, James Srygler of Joliet; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins. Mr. Srygler was born in Bonnieville, Kentucky. He has been a Joliet resident for 61 years and was employed at GAF Corp. as a machine tender for 42 1/2 years. He also operated with his wife the Red Dot Pet Supply on Collins St. World War II Navy veteran. Funeral services will be held at the Gerald Dames & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Sherman St. Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gerald Johnson officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. (9)
