ELIZABETH "BETTY" LAMITIE, 64, a resident of the Alice Hyde Nursing Home, Malone, and formerly of 77 Front St., Malone, passed away Sunday morning, Dec. 3, 2000, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone, where she had been a patient since Nov. 19.
Born in Malone on June 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Romeo Bill Recore and Martha Hodges Recore. She was married to Donald U. Lamitie and worked at Tru-Stitch Footwear in Malone.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1 p.m. in St. John Bosco Church, Malone, with the Rev. Thomas Moody officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
