Mrs. John W. Kelbaugh died at her home, near Thurmont, about 10:30 o'clock Wednesday night following a long illness. She was about seventy years of age. She was the former Miss Carrie V. Recker.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Emory F. Stottlemyer, Mrs. Estee B. Zent. Mrs. John M. Creeger, all of Thurmont: Miss Grace Kelbaugh at home, Earl L., Ira C., and Lee J. Kelbaugh, all of Thurmont and Paul R. Kelbaugh.

She is also survived by the following sisters and brothers. Mrs. Emma Grove, Grand Junction, Iowa; Mrs. Etta Poole, Frederick; Edward P. Recker, Smithsburg; John L. Recker, Thurmont.
