Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Florence Engle Tobias, 78, who formerly lived on Bonney View Farm, Beaver Valley Rd., which occurred Tuesday night at her residence in Paramount, Calif. after a three-month illness. She was the wife of Emerson Tobias, a former minister who farmed in Greene County until the family moved to California in 1954. While a resident of this area she attended the Evangelical and Reformed Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs.Tobias leaves a son, William, also of Paramount, Calif., a brother, Chester Engle, in New Jersey; a nephew, Philip L. Engle of Beaver Valley Rd., and a niece, Mrs. Richard Olt of Dayton. Services and burial will take place in Downey, Calif.--Xenia Gazette
