Aleda M. Kinkade, at one time supervisor of The Oregonian's classified advertising department, died Monday at a local hospital. She had been ill since 1935.

Miss Kinkade was born at Ruby, Mont., December 12, 1907, and came to Portland with her family in 1921. She attended Portsmouth grade school, Girls Polytechnic and Commerce high school. Miss Kinkade's home was at 527 N. Oberlin street.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kinkade, Portland, and two brothers, Wayne of Hillsboro, and Alvin, Portland.
