Per his death certificate found on Ancestry.com: he was a son of Thomas M. Walker and Louise Weisner and the widower of Martha Mitchell Walker. He was a retired farmer. He resided in Olin, N.C. at the time of his death and died at Davis Hospital in Statesville of cardiorespitatory failure due to metastatic carcinoma of the prostate. The informant was Mrs. T. R. Mayberry of Statesville, N.C.
