Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: she was a daughter of James Mitchell and Jane Mitchell. She was married at the time of her death but her spouse is not named. She died at H. L. Long's Hospital of coronary thrombosis due to arteriosclerosis. The informant was Mrs. G. L. Wilson of Statesville, N.C.
