Son of Samuel Flint and Mary Hall. Married Lucy Martin 16 Dec. 1767 in Windham, CT. He is also the father of the Hon. Martin Flint who's memorial is also in this cemetery.
The following is from the Genealogical Register of the Descendants of Thomas Flint of Salem (MA) dated 1860:
(285) Dea. Samuel Flint, 2d son of Samuel (117), born in Windham (now Hampton), Conn., Oct. 25, 1746, and died in Randolph, VT, July 9, 1827.
In the early part of his life he lived on a farm at the west side of Hampton, containing 55 acres, which was originally the one-half of his father's farm, and which he acquired of him by purchase Sept. 3, 1771. On Jan. 15, 1785, he sold his farm, and in the spring removed, with his family, to Randolph, VT.
Married, Dec. 17, 1767, Lucy, daughter of George and Sarah (Durkee) Martin, who was born May 6, 1749, and died March 3, 1827.
