D'IBERVILLE --- Floyd E. Scott Jr., 78, died Saturday, March 27, 1999, in Biloxi.

Mr. Scott, a native of Lumberton, was a longtime resident of Mobile and had been a current resident of D'Iberville. He was a retired funeral director of Radney Funeral Home in Mobile and was a deacon in the Baptist church. He was a member of Moose Lodge No. 332 and Masonic Lodge in Columbus, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Lorrain Scott; and a great-grandson, Joseph Scot Leidigh.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Howes of Greesboro, N.C.; two sons, Floyd Scott III of D'Iberville and Gilbert Scott of Theodore, Ala.; a sister, Geraldine Williams; a brother, Rev. Keith Scott, both of Lucedale; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road in Mobile. A service will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
