Oliver Perry Abbett, aged 77 years, died at his home in Bedford, Wednesday. The body was brought here this morning and Mrs. Fannie taken to the home of Wells, 1021 Chestnut street. Funeral services, will be held from the home of Mrs. Wells, Friday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Harley Jackson, with burial in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
Mr. Abbett lived on Carr's hill road, west of Columbus, several years ago, and will be remembered by many of the older residents here. He leaves four children, Charles Abbett and Mrs. Horatio Brooks, of Indiamapolis; D. I. Abbett, of Bedford, and Mrs. Fannie Wells, of this city. The latter is a stepdaughter.
