Canadian politician. A native of Saint-Paul-de-Joliette, he became a lawyer. On December 9, 1880, he was elected to the House of Commons as the Conservative representative for the district of Joliette. He passed away in Joliette, shortly after having been defeated in the federal elections of 1882. His brother Joseph-Norbert-Alfred McConville (q,v.) was a member of the Québec Legislative Assembly, in 1885 and 1886.
