JANESVILLE - Virginia B. Wilcox, age 72, of 1119 Martin Rd., died Wed., Oct 25, 1989 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. She was born Sept. 3, 1917, in Edgerton, the daughter of George Frederick and Julia Louise (Ullius) Schmeling. She graduated from Edgerton High School and married Charles Wilcox on Dec. 26, 1936 in Belvidere, IL. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1975. She had been a Janesville resident since 1957, had been employed at the Edgerton Shoe Factory and had been active in KAYRA and RSVP.
Her survivors include 2 sons, David of Janesville and Dennis of Orlando, FL; a brother, Stanley Schmeling of Edgerton; 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Fri., Oct. 27, 1989, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bruni-Nygaard-Ward Funeral Home in Edgerton with Rev. Terry Pauley officiating.
