Charles W. Wilcox, 59, of 1119 Martin Rd., traffic supervisor of JATCO, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack in his home Sunday.
He was born Oct. 9, 1915, in Edgerton, the son of James and Margaret Thomas Wilcox, and was a graduate of Edgerton High School. He served with the Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946.
Mr. Wilcox was married to Virginia Schmeling Dec. 26, 1936, and they resided in Edgerton until moving to Janesville in 1957. He had been traffic supervisor at JATCO the past 21 years, and was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Dennis, Lansing, Ill., and David, Janesville; two grandchildren; two brothers, Russell and James, both of Edgerton; two sisters, Mrs. Lucile Williams, Edgerton, and Mrs. Jean Heller, Janesville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Edgerton Congregational Church, with burial in Fassett Cemetery.
