Musician. She was an American concert violinist, a child prodigy, performing on the violin at age 7. From 1915 to 1917, she was the only violinist to work with the great John Philip Sousa and entertained troops with him during World War I. While still in France on June of 1919, she married Lt. Melvin Mangrum. Their son was John Fuller Mangrum, an American priest, who was ordained in Episcopal Church, becoming well-known. Her home is on the historical registry.
