ROMAN N. BECKER

The Rev. James P. Massart will officiate with entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth. Military rites will be accorded Mr. Becker by Amvets Post No. 99.

Mr. Becker was born Aug. 27, 1916, at Manitowoc, son of the late Walter and Lydia Becker. He resided in Manitowoc County all his life and attended Manitowoc Public Schools.

He had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. for 43 years. Mr. Becker was past president of Francis Creek Lions Club in 1971, a member of Franternal Order of Eagles Aerie 706, Mirro Management Club, Mirro 25 year Club and Francis Creek Fire Dept. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 8th Air Force 457th bomb group, 750 bomb squadron, flying 35 combat missions. He was founder and first commander of Amvet Post No. 99.

Survivors include a brother, Ted, of Manitowoc, a friend, Florence Kochan, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and two nieces.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a memorial service will be at 7 p.m.
