Paul Harvin, 67, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Paul was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Cordell, Okla., to James and Shirley Harvin. He was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1964. He married Rose Fajardo on Jan. 9, 1982. He was an inspector in the beef industry for several years before becoming a manager in the retail shoe business.

Paul was a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to car shows. He was a very generous person and would help anyone. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Harvin of Amarillo; three brothers, Micky Harvin, Terry Harvin and Tony Harvin and wife Lynette, all of Amarillo; two nephews, Kyle Harvin of California and Ty Harvin of Amarillo; and a niece, Sarah Harvin of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to National Parkinson Foundation,Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741; American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109; National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016; or American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
