Herbert Huinker, 22, died Sunday afternoon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Huinker, in the village of Cato after a nine weeks' illness. He submitted to an appendix operation late in April.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the St. Michael's Church, Whitelaw, the Rev. James Schmidt, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Huinker was born at Taus in 1916 and attended the St. Michael's parochial school. He had been employed as a farm hand in the town of Cato.
Surviving are the parents, five sisters, Mrs. Donald Brunig, Branch, Ruth, Marie, Dorothy and Delores, all at home; and two brothers, Raymond and Harold of Cato.
