Henry William Braun, 210 Grand Ave., Brillion, age 80, died April 2, 1991 at Chilton Village Nursing Home after a lingering illness.

He was born Oct. 3, 1910 in the town of Maple Grove, son of the late William and Elise (Kriehn) Braun. He married Dorothy Stecker May 4, 1940 in Rantoul.

He farmed in the Town of Maple Grove. He retired in 1980 and moved to Brillion. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenleaf.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons and daughters-in-law; Glenn and Kathleen Braun, Plymouth; Donald and Patricia, The Woodlands, Texas; four grandchildren; Eric, Kay, Lindsay and Channing Braun; a sister, Elenora Werschke, Shirley; a sister-in-law, Dorothea Braun, Reedsville; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services were Saturday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenleaf with Pastor Wallace Gaulke officiating. Entombment will be in the Knollwood Mausoleum.
