Georgiana "Jean" Cooper, age 95, of Manitowoc, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at St. Mary's Home.

Georgiana was born on Oct. 26, 1912, in Marathon County, daughter of the late George and Lillian (Lemke) Baum. She married Lawrence Cooper on June 23, 1934, in Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2003. Georgiana was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Lawrence; two brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at First Reformed United Church of Christ. Officiating will be the Rev. Kim Henning. Entombment of her cremated remains will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum,
Highway 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 10:15 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Reformed United Church of Christ.

The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Cooper family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Mary's Home for all the wonderful and special care given to their Georgi.
