Mrs. Rebecca B. Daellenbach, 69, of 1624 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, December 7, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, with and burial in Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Daellenbach was born September 29, 1916, at Whitetail, Montana, daughter of the late Guy and Mabel (née Sletten) Williams. She attended schools in Barron, Wisconsin, graduating from high school there in 1934. She later attended schools in Black River Falls.

She married Conrad C. Daellenbach on December 18, 1937, at Barron, Wisconsin. The couple resided in Barron and later Rhinelander, Wisconsin, following their marriage. The couple came to Manitowoc in 1951 to make their home.

Mrs. Daellenbach was a Dental Technician for a few years. She was manager of the Credit Bureau for the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Chamber of Commerce from 1962-1976 and following that for two years in the Credit Department for Metal Ware Corporation, Two Rivers. Mrs. Daellenbach was a member of First Lutheran Church, Past Resident of Manitowoc Woman's club, Past President A.A.R.P., Past President B.P.W., Past Worthy Matron Order of Eastern Star No. 196. In 1978 she was Manitowoc and Two Rivers B.P.W. Woman of the Year. She was the first woman on the Board of Directors of the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Chamber of Commerce. For 17 years she was secretary of community concerts. For the past few years Mrs. Daellenbach worked as a volunteer for Manitowoc Social Service and the Manitowoc Senior Center.

Survivors include her husband, Conrad; a son, C.Charles Daellenbach of Toronto, Canada; two daughters and sons-in-law, Roberta and Clyde Brehm of Waukesha and Rosemary and Ballard Champion of Guntersville, Alabama; a brother, Charles Joseph Williams of Madison; a sister, Wilma Davis of Highland, Indiana; three grandchildren, Rebecca Ayer of DeKalb, Illinois, Michael Champion of Guntersville, Alabama, and Eric Brehm of Waukesha; a great grandson, Philip Ayer of DeKalb, Illinois, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and then at the church. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.
