CYRIL G. 'JERRY' DEROSIER

Cyril "Jerry" DeRosier, age 83, of 2019 13th St., Two Rivers, peacefully entered into eternal life early on Tuesday morning, Aug. 14, 2007, at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.

Jerry was born on May 30, 1924, in Oconto, a son of the late Wilfred and Agnes (Aubry) DeRosier. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. On Nov. 16, 1945, he was united in marriage to Erma Behnke at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on Nov. 22, 2003. Mr. DeRosier was employed with Mirro Aluminum Company for 41 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1986. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed bird watching and the wildlife at his cottage on Trump Lake in Wabeno. He was a longtime member of the Manitowoc County Fish & Game, Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother: Robert DeRosier, and sisters-in-law: Doris Mae DeRosier and Virginia DeRosier.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. The Rev. William G. O'Brien will officiate at the service. Entombment will take place at the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc, on Friday, with military graveside rites accorded by members of the VFW and American Legion Post of Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels after 5 p.m. on Thursday until the time of service at 7:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic School.

The DeRosier family would like to extend a special thank you to Pat Krueger for all her special care and support of our mother and father over the years. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Also a special thanks to Dr. Robert Gahl and the entire staff of the Hamilton Memorial Home and Aurora Medical Center for your compassionate care.
