Lorraine E. Dirkman, age 82, a former Kellnersville resident and a resident of Manitou Manor, Manitowoc, died on Sunday morning, Sept. 9, 2007, at Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
The former Lorraine Cisler, was born on Jan. 8, 1925, at Branch, daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Petska) Cisler. Lorraine attended local schools, and graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, in 1942. On Oct. 10, 1943, she was married to Paul J. Dirkman at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Paul preceded Lorraine in death on Feb. 6, 1996. Lorraine worked for over 23 years at Mirro-Foley, retiring in 1988. Lorraine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a meal coordinator and also organized games at Manitou Manor.

She was preceded in death by one son: Keith Dirkman; six brothers-in-law: Edward Sheahan; Kenneth Jurgens; Robert Szmanda; Richard Thomas; Edmund Dirkman and Robert LaPorte; two sisters-in-law: Marian Dirkman and Ruth LaPorte.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The Rev. Rallen Stencil will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.
Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be a rosary prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
