Gordon J. Doolan, 72, of 1821-28th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday evening, Sept. 4, at Hamilton Home, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Paul Schumacher and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Doolan was born Jan. 12, 1911, at Two Rivers, son of the late William and Mary Vaudreuil Doolan. He attended Two Rivers schools. He married Luella Bauknecht Aug. 28, 1940, at Two Rivers. He was employed at Hamilton Industries until retirement. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, being a past Grand Knight.

Survivors include his wife, Luella; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Ann Marie Doolan of St. Joseph, Mich., and Tim and Rae Ann Doolan of Green Bay; three daughters and a son-in-law, Bonnie Chiu of Newport Beach, Calif., Nancy Begotka of Two Rivers and Kathy and David Altmann of Marblehead, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. William Sheehan of Stevens Point, Wis.; a sister-in-law, Ferne Doolan of Somerset, Wis., and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, a grandson and his parents.

Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Tuesday evening where a memorial service will be at 7 o’clock for the family and Knights of Columbus.
