Mrs. Isadore (Amanda) Duveneck, 82, of 520 East Reed Avenue, Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, February 23, 1987 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum.

Mrs. Duveneck was born January 23, 1905 at Wausau, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (née Henning) Drida. She grew up and was educated at Athens, Wisconsin and Antigo, Wisconsin, moving to Manitowoc in 1923, residing here since.

She married Isadore T. Duveneck on August 15, 1936, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death November 5, 1981. Mrs. Duveneck was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Clarence Riske of Manitowoc, Nancy and Ronald Crabb of Manitowoc and Peggy and Carlyle VanDriest of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin; six brothers, Edward Drida of Crivitz, Wisconsin, Joseph Drida of Manitowoc, Lawrence Drida of Florida, George Drida of Manitowoc, Clarence Drida of Manitowoc and Stanley Drida of Milwaukee; two sisters, Frieda Rugowski of Texas and Mrs. Lester (Ruth) Anderla of Mishicot; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James and a sister, Alice Ourada.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
