CONSTANCE C. FOLEY
Constance C. Foley, age 102, of the Felician Village, 1700 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Connie was born on Oct. 1, 1906, in Neshkora, Wis. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Frank and Kathryn Victory Foley. After high school, she received her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her M.S. degree. She taught school for 46 years in various cities in Wisconsin including one year in Bathpate, Scotland. Connie joined the Manitowoc Public School District in 1946 and taught fifth and sixth grades at Cleveland and McKinley Schools. She ended her teaching career as principal at McKinley school in Manitowoc where she held that position from 1965 to 1973 when she retired. She had many interests, besides teaching, included golf, bowling, bridge and traveling.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Memorial services will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Foley officiating. Cremation has taken place and her cremated remains will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Home Chapel on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 9:30 a.m. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
