Mrs. Wilbert (Lorraine) Funk Sr., 67, of 14331 Saxonburg Rd., Mishicot, died Monday evening, April 8, at Two Rivers Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot and 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Richard Allen will officiate and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum.
Mrs. Funk, nee Lorraine Jost, was born April 26, 1917, at Cleveland, Wis., daughter of the late Paul and Anna Remick Jost.
She was married to Wilbert Funk Sr., Nov. 24, 1937, at St. Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland. Since then they farmed at their present address. She had been employed at Hamilton Industries for a number of years and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Ladies Altar Society.
Survivors incllude her husband, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Wilbert Jr. and Cindy Funk of Route 1, Denmark, David and Peggy Funk of Mishicot and Mark at home; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Joseph (Lorraine) Krcma of Route 1, Denmark, Mrs. Ronald (Dorothy) Morreau of Mishiicot, Mrs. Ken (Lucille). Jossart of Route 3, Green Bay and Mrs. Norman (Diane) Blattler of Mishicot; three brothers, Frederick Jost of Bluffton, Ind, William Jost of Kiel and Harold Jost of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Marie) Funk of Two Rivers and Mrs; Frank (Caroline) Salkowski of Manitowoc;. 25 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where an Altar Society Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. and a Memorial Service will be 8 p.m.
