Laura Geier, 96, Kewaunee, died Saturday April 12, 1997, at Kewaunee Health Care Center.

She was born 29 December 1900 in Kewaunee to Charles and Emma (née Beilke) Lutien. She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Church, member of the Auxiliary of World War I Barracks.

She married Harry Geier on Oct. 5, 1920, in Kewaunee, who preceded her in death Aug. 5, 1985.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Burton Geier, Lavern and June Geier, Alfred and Gloria Geier, all of Kewaunee; four daughters and three son-in-law; Mildred and Harold Pavlat, Algoma; Lorraine Shillin, Kewaunee; Janet and David Maigatter, Kewaunee; Sharon and Ed Prucha, Kewaunee; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, one sister, Olga Densow, Algoma; one sister-in-law, Elvira Lutien, Kewaunee.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Ronald Shillin; one great-grandson, Brent Rodrian; one son-in-law, George Shillin; two brothers, Harold and Henry Lutien; two sisters, Erna Paplham and Maggie Paplham.

Wake service at Holy Rosary Church with entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum.
