NICOLAS BRIONES GONZALES

Nicolas Briones Gonzales, age 75, of 2137 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died on Monday morning, June 23, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

He was born on Dec. 6, 1932, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, son of the late Martin and Dominga (Briones) Gonzales. Nicolas was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1951 to 1953. On May 29, 1982, he married the former Lorraine Pritzl. He was a custodian for the city of Manitowoc for 18 years. Nicolas was a member of AmVets Post 99.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Cristina; a brother: Raymondo; and brothers-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008, at Knollwood
Memorial Chapel, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Ken Coenen, with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. Military rites will be accorded by AmVets Post 99.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Knollwood Memorial Chapel, town of Kossuth, from 9 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008, until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Barylak and staff and the Third Floor Staff of Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
